Background
MiniJerzeys® and the Auburn University soccer team commemorated coach Karen Hoppa on her 25th season leading the Tigers. The collectible manufacturer produced mini jerseys with Hoppa’s name and number as a giveaway for its opening-day match.
Under coach Hoppa, Auburn University has become a mainstay among the Southeastern Conference’s top programs. Her teams have won seven SEC Western Division titles, one regular-season championship, and one SEC tournament trophy.
Delivery
Before Auburn’s home match against Samford University, the first 250 fans received a mini replica of Hoppa’s jersey. The school promoted the giveaway on its web page in a preview of the team’s exhibition games and season-opening match.
